Roseanne Cottage is a great cottage for four guests to enjoy and be central on the beautiful, mystical Isle of Skye. Having two bedrooms, a shower room and the open plan living, dining room and kitchen it flows well and there is a good size back garden. It is asked that dogs are kept on a lead as Skye has a lot of sheep and cattle.
You are 5 minutes to Portree where there are restaurants including famous fish and chip shops along with some boutique shops, swimming pool, cinema, boat trips from the harbour. On the road to Uig you can find the Fairy Glen just before the village itself on the right-hand side, the Uig Pottery and the ferry going over to the Outer Isles. You can also do the north of Skye heading up and over to Staffin and back down to Portree from Uig. From the cottage you can drive over to Dunvegan, visit the castle and also the Coral Beach.
Further northwest you have Neist Point Lighthouse and the village of Glendale, which has its own beach and jetty where you can fish from. If its hill walking you are looking to do, there is the Cuillin Mountain Range, Macleods Tables, Waterstein Head, to name but a few and for any younger members of the party there are the dinosaur footprints near Staffin, and outdoor activities near Portree, too. Beach 11¼ miles. Pub and restaurant 4¼ miles.
