This Grade II listed holiday home is the perfect place for families and couples looking to explore this delightful location.

Rose Cottage is a Grade II listed, mid-terraced holiday retreat, situated in the centre of the small sleepy village of Stockland. Nestled next to the owner’s home, this property offers peace and quiet and is perfect for family holidays or walking enthusiasts.
The property has been decorated and furnished to a good standard. The kitchen/dining room benefits from underfloor heating, and the living room has a wood burner where guests can curl up and relax after a day filled with adventure. There are 2 steps to the quiet courtyard area, with table and chairs, making the ideal spot for an al fresco supper, whilst listening to the tranquil sound of the fenced river flowing through the garden.
Stockland is a small rural village in Devon, close to the Somerset boundary. Its nearest neighbouring towns are Honiton and Axminster, which are 6 miles and 5 miles away. The village is placed within the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. National Trust houses and gardens are a short distance away, or take a drive into Axminster, where Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s ’River Cottage Canteen’ can be found. Exeter and Taunton are an easy drive away and are well worth a visit. The coast is 20 minutes’ drive from Stockland and there are many walks that can be taken from the front door. The East Devon Coast with its Jurassic Coast is just a short distance away. Beach 12 miles. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub 2½ miles.
