found everything in an excellent state, the dogs had a great time in the paddock, and for one of them we think it was her first holiday and was acting like a puppy, there was a great walk nearby at the Mere at Ellsmere. a great cottage and with extremely friendly owners. there is a dog friendly pub just up the road that does real ales and good food as well. only minor downside is the road you pull out on to gets rather busy at times and they do tend to drive fast by the cottages entrance, other than that a great place to stay to either stay and relax or go off exploring if you like steam trains Llangollen isn't far away neither is Porthmadog

Cosy, large parking space and secure. Dog blankets, toys and bowls provided ! Pubs within 5 miles or so, as is a local supermarket. We walked, took our canoe on the Llangollen canal (the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is only a few miles away) and visited Attingham Park and Erddig National Trust. The cottage has plenty of space to exercise your dogs, and is clean and well thought out with everything you need.
