There is a great selection of golf courses in the area, and the championship courses of St Andrews are only 11 miles away.
You can follow the Fife Coastal Path to pretty fishing villages and sandy beaches and coves, explore Iron Age caves and view wildlife, including a variety of seabirds and colonies of seals. Aside from all this, the Kingdom of Fife is home to some outstanding summer arts festivals, many historic sights and great hill walking.
Whatever you choose to do during your stay you can rest assured that the luxury of Rockvale Cottage awaits your return. Put your feet up and relax in front of the wood-burning stove with a glass of wine in the large, comfortable living room, or step outside and admire this picture postcard setting and watch the sun set over Largo Bay. This is our third stay at Rockvale Cottage and it really does tick all the boxes. It is spacious, family friendly, cosy and comfortable. The garden with patios and access straight onto the beach is the icing on the cake. We make full use of the barbecue regardless of the weather. We sit on the bench with our binoculars to watch the fantastic array of birdlife and the occasional sighting of seals and dolphins. The beach is fantastic and the kids just love the rockpools where they find an abundance of sea creatures. You could park your car when you arrive and not use it for the duration of your holiday!

This is a beautiful cottage right on the shore so is ideal for beach walks. Lower Largo is a quiet little town with a pub, a hotel which does good lunches and dinners and a store which sells the essentials.

One of the most comfortable and well-equipped cottages we have stayed in, situated in an excellent location, in a quiet conservation area, with the rear garden having direct access to the beach. The views from the living room and master bedroom are superb, looking directly across the Firth of Forth towards North Berwick, with an ever-changing natural light which you would never tire of. The cottage itself is roomy, cozy, well laid out with a great attention to detail, and Fiona, the owner, is a very attentive host. We would certainly return to Rockvale and very much enjoyed our stay there

We had a fabulous time in a lovely holiday cottage. The views from the cottage are wonderful. The owner had provided everything we could need. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It was so easy to relax and just enjoy our time there. Waking up and just listening to the sea was a joy. The welcome pack was lovely and the owners have taken great pains to make sure their guests wanted for nothing, even to a vase full of lovely fresh flowers. Thank you!

Great location, lovely cosy cottage. Parking would be a huge bonus, there is a garage but it is very narrow and small. Clean and tidy throughout.
