Robins Nest is a fantastic cabin for up to two guests. It offers a kingsize bed with a hidden TV, a sofa area and well-equipped kitchen. There is also a great shower room. Outside is a private garden area with garden furniture and a wood-fired hot tub. Please note the hot tub will be empty upon arrival, this takes around 20 minutes to fill and up to 3 hours to heat depending on the time of year. The area where the farm is located is great if you are an avid walker and explorer, you can roam the Peak District hills for hours.
Visit the market town of Bakewell, famous for its puddings, and if you go to the museum in town you can learn about the Bakewell elephant! Buxton is also a popular town, better known for its spa and opera house.
The stately home of Chatsworth House, built in the 17th and early 18th centuries, has been home to the Devonshire family for over 400 years. In addition to the house, there are 105 acres of gardens to explore and an amazing cascade waterfall and fountain.
Haddon Hall is like stepping back in time with over 900 years of history. It has been the backdrop for several TV programmes and films including Jane Eyre, The Princess Bride, Elizabeth, Pride and Prejudice and The Other Boleyn Girl.
The Peak District has more to offer including the show caves at Castleton and the Blue John mines. Matlock and Matlock Bath are also worth a visit as is a trip on the cable car to the Heights of Abraham.
Enjoy a meal in the local pub before retreating back to Robins Nest to relax in the hot tub. Pub and restaurant ½ mile.
