We spent 4 nights staying at this lovely cottage. We had a wonderful time exploring the local area which is very beautiful and the town of Rye which is full of character only 4 miles up the road. We were warmly welcomed by our hostess for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. Hope to return soon.

The cottage itself is lovely , however there is a children's nursery on the premises which would be noisy. The roads in and out are full of potholes which should be in the details. The sheep dogs were lose and kept entering our garden. Also they said there was a b&b on the premises which turned out to be the owners house which at the time of our stay was full of family. We ended up with a mattress on the floor in a cottage for two which was advertised as a cottage for three ! The owner was nice but extremely disorganized.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your review, we are pleased you liked the cottage. It is a shame however that you didn’t read the property details, it does state that it is adjacent to a Nursery School. Also we are a working farm and the collies are out and about. I am afraid guests give the dogs treats which is why they come over to the cottage. We are trying to sort the farm road out, but as I am sure you can appreciate it has been a very wet spell of weather and it’s not a two minute job. Thank you for leaving feedback it helps us to try harder next time.
