Ideally situated for exploring the history and heritage of Bodmin Moor, and the nearby pretty coastal villages and lovely sandy beaches of Cornwall.

Set in the heart of Bodmin Moor in the little village of St Breward, Riverside is a pretty whitewashed traditional stone built Cornish moorland cottage full of character and charm. It is set alongside a babbling river, with a granite bridge leading to the front of the cottage. This detached cottage is cosy and very comfortable and has a small, fully enclosed garden and is just perfect for couples of all ages looking for a quiet get away. It is the perfect spot for exploring the wild rugged tors and open moorland with sheep, cattle and ponies grazing. There is a pub just a short walk across the village green and a village shop to get your provisions. The cottage has a lovely wood burner, making it warm and snug for holidays throughout the year, and the kitchen/breakfast room has a stable door leading out into the garden. There are plenty of opportunities for walking right on your door step and even a riding stables close by where you can book horseback pub rides across the moors. The Camel Trail is nearby for walking or biking to Padstow. Port Isaac, made famous by the television series ’Doc Martin’, the small seaside resort of Polzeath and the coastal fishing village of Rock are all approximately half an hour away. Beach 9½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Enclosed garden with sitting-out area. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There is a stream to the front of the cottage.
