We spent two wonderful relaxing getting away and switching off weeks at this wonderful cottage that is a home from home. The owners are so friendly and live on the croft but let you get on with your holiday and are there if you need them for anything. They should be proud of themselves for building this wonderful cottage for people to recharge there batteries away from there everyday lives. The area has beautiful beaches, mountains and most of all nature at its finest.Even on the days the weather was not at it's best watching all the birds feeding off the table in front of the window makes you relaxed so bring nuts and fat balls and seeds. The village shop is 3 miles away I recommend you bring most stuff with you as it is a wee bit expensive but the place is remote so everyone has to make a living. We mostly ate in the cottage.I recommend going to iona and mull for the day and get an early ferry and explore these two wonderful islands. River view cottage we will be back again to destress from every day life.

a very lovely cottage in a great location with beautiful views. It is at the end of a narrow road but if you want a quiet getaway place this is it we loved it as did our dog. The owners are very friendly and we would recommend this cottage for peace and relaxation.
