Set in 20 blissful acres of sleepy Devon countryside, Park Mill Farm is home to six beautiful properties perfect for that rural escape. There are five barn conversions and a cottage, and every property combines modern living and style with traditional features. Open plan designs and stylish decors make it easy to unwind, while features such as exposed wooden beams and vaulted ceilings add a little character.

Riverside Cottage is a spacious barn conversion on a site with other cottages. It creates the perfect blend of old and new. The modern stylish furnishings give the perfect example of luxury living, while the natural slate flagstones ground floors, solid oak floors on the upper levels, vaulted beamed ceilings and large brick built fireplace with wood burner give you traditional beauty.

Park Mill Farm Cottages are situated in a magical riverside setting, less than a mile from Chulmleigh centre, with 20-acres of lush fields, woods and parkland where you are free to roam along with the abundant wildlife. From the viewing area on top of the hill with a bench, to the river and lakeside areas, there is plenty to explore.

Chulmleigh is a Saxon hilltop village made up of thatched cottages, traditional pubs and a small collection of independent shops. There is a children’s play park and dining options consist of three pubs in the town, a cosmopolitan restaurant and an Indian restaurant/takeaway. Chulmleigh town centre is a conservation area and the rich grassland found here is home to the largest population of otters in any natural area in England. The area provides access to an abundance of leisure activities including walking, cycling, fishing, golf and horse riding along with a number of historic houses and gardens in the vicinity. Guests can enjoy the best of coast and country with Dartmoor and Exmoor nearby, as well as the North Devon coast in one direction and the cathedral city of Exeter in the other, all within an hour’s drive.

Just a short drive away from Park Mill Farm Cottages, you can experience the range of luxurious facilities on offer at Highbullen Golf and Country Club including tennis courts, a pool, fitness suite, and a range of spa treatments if you fancy being pampered.

There are two rivers, The Little Dart and Huntacott, meandering through the grounds and a private fishing lake where guests can enjoy free fly and coarse fishing and catch carp, rudd, chubb, roach, brown trout and tench. There is also complimentary fishing on both rivers where brown trout, sea trout and salmon can be caught together with coarse fish.

Riverside Cottage can be booked together with The Smithy (BCPMSMIT) via an interconnecting door, and also Cider Barn (BCPMCIDE), Old Dairy (BCPMDAIR) and Park Mill Farm Cottage (BCPMFARM) to accommodate up to 18 guests.
