Central to many popular towns, including St Ives with the Tate Modern, Mounts Bay and St Michael’s Mount, Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole to name but a few.

This delightful, cosy holiday cottage is situated in a small hamlet and adjoins the owners’ home, yet convenient for the main A30, which ensures easy access for exploring West Cornwall, with its mining history and heather clad moorland. From the rugged north coast, popular with surfers, to the tranquil sailing waters of the south coast, this cottage is a haven at any time of the year. The historic town of Marazion is just a short drive away, where guests will find art galleries, curiosity shops and tea rooms. The busy town of Penzance is close by with its long promenade, open air lido, marinas, shops, cafés and restaurants. Continue round the coast to the fishing port of Newlyn and the quaint harbour and village of Mousehole. Visit the romantic Minack open air theatre cut in to the rock face with ocean as a back drop, overlooking Porthcurno beach. Land’s End, Britain’s most westerly point and the stunning beach at Sennen are within easy reach. Take the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth to St Ives, with its picturesque harbour and gorgeous beaches. The azure coloured sea and light attract artists from around the world and is the home to The Tate Modern and Barbra Hepworth Museum. Explore the cobbled streets with cafés and restaurants overlooking the water front. The area is popular with walkers with links to South West Coastal Paths. Visit sub-tropical gardens including Trebah, Durgan and Trelissick. Golf courses, cycle trails and fishing trips are available close by or just simply relax on one of the area’s beautiful beaches. The cottage is the perfect retreat for couples looking for a peaceful holiday at any time of the year. Beach 21/2 miles. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant 1 mile.

The cottage is ideally situated for visiting this area of Cornwall with north and south coasts only a short distance away. St Michael's Mount is well worth a visit as is the mine at Levant.

Lovely cosy little cottage, tucked away just off the A30 which makes it an ideal base to explore this part of Cornwall. The cottage is located just outside Penzance so ample amenities to chose from including a wide array of shops and places to eat. The cottage was spotlessly clean and our hosts Dave and Jan went out of their way to make us welcome, they are there if you need them but not intrusive. We spent our days happily exploring the coast and returning to the warm cosy cottage in the evenings to relax and unwind. Would definately book again.

From the moment we got there we knew we had made the right choice. On our arrival we were very surprised as on entering the kitchen Jan and Dave had left us a cornish cream tea and biscuits to enjoy. The cottage was lovely, it was like a home from home fully equiped with everything we needed. Jan and Dave the owners live next door, they are a lovely couple who we found very easy to talk to and also very informative on places to go etc. The cottage itself is in a prime location making it easy to reach many of the resorts and attractions. We both had a really enjoyable and carefree holiday, and i would highly recommend this cottage and would have no hesitation in booking again.
