Cottage in a great quiet position with river views and walking from the door. Cottage is well appointed with mostly everything you need. Small grievances were the cloakroom loo seat was really loose and required tightening, which was so evident that housekeeping would have undoubtably noticed. The upstairs loo would not always shut off when flushed so a constant wiggle of the handle was required and the on off on the shower control was really loose making operation difficult. we also could not find an electric shaver point to either shave or charge toothbrushes. Small issues that you could do without but they did not retract from the great stay that we had and we would return.

Lovely quiet cottage very comfortably furnished and clean. Be warned if you have large car though as approach through Mill is tight and steep. I personally hate scented sticks and diffusers and scent was rather over powering on arrival but this was easily remedied. Location is great to explore the Dales and the waterfalls were beautiful. Kitchen well stocked with equipment and once got hang of oven it had all we needed. Welcome biscuits were nice touch thank you. Would definitely use again.

This is a perfect little cottage to escape the hustle and bustle of town life. Being able to sit in an armchair by an open balcony looking directly at the river and its wildlife (kingfishers, dippers, tree creepers, various ducks....) was delightful. The Falls are just a few minutes’ walk away - the cottage sits between the Upper and Middle Falls. The cottage is well-furnished and comfortable. The log burner is great to provide a cosy glow in the evenings. Hawes is close by (for cheese at the Wensleydale creamery!) and Leyburn is good for provisions. There are lots of other villages and attractions in the area which are well worth visiting. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to spend a few nights in the Dales.

Really enjoyed our holiday in the cottage! There was just a few minor issues (which wouldn't stop us staying again) that let it down. Fantastic location next to the river, the cafe next door was amazing as was the pub at the top of the road, and there were some great dog walks from the front door :) Overall, great value for money and would stay again.
