Excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, lovely hosts who left delicious Devon cream and scones for our arrival and were on hand if we needed them. Which we didn't really, the barn is beautiful, very high standard, comfortable beds, spotless everywhere, very well equipped and throughly relaxing. The courtyard was super, just out of the kitchen door for drinks or a cuppa, BBQ, plenty of seating, enclosed if you have little ones. The cinema room, wow! Our kids (age 9 up to 12) loved this! Plus the games barn, so much in there to entertain and loads of space to run about in and of course little adventures down to the meadow. Happy kids meant happy parents. Lovely part of the world, so much to see and do if you want it, fabulous house to relax in, local facilities on hand. Everything you want from a holiday!!

We have just returned from a refreshing 5 day break at Ringslade Barn. What an amazing find this accommodation was! Firstly, the location is superb – in a peaceful road set in acres of private grounds, but very close to major road routes around Devon and beyond. So day trips out to Plymoth, Exeter, Dartmoor etc. did not take up much travel time. The accommodation is second to none – everything you could wish for was provided: Loads of kitchen utensils, towels, bedding, games, local information, appliance instructions etc. Very comfortable beds and a lovely warm heating system. My only disappointment was that in the photo I thought the log burner was real but it is in fact electric – far easier to ‘light’ than logs, though (although there is a fire pit available to use outside if you like burning logs!) There is also a great separate games room – with pool table. Table tennis and darts set up. We were so happy in the other parts of the barn we didn’t get round to actually using this! The incredible ‘extra’ for this accommodation is the use of the ‘home cinema’ in a separate part of the building. For the technically minded we are not talking your average Blu-ray 5.1 home cinema ‘all in one’. This is a high quality, high definition Benq overhead projector cinema system projecting onto a bespoke 10 foot screen. To compliment the amazing picture you have the luxury of a dedicated Yamaha 5.1 sound system with a thumping sub-woofer. I could have spent 24/7 watching movies and concerts in that cinema  Would highly recommend Ringslade Barn and hope to visit again before too long.

Had a wonderful stay at Ringslade Barn! Absolutely beautiful barn with everything we wanted for our New Years get away. The owner Jane is lovely, very accommodating and flexible with arrival and departure times! The barn was lovely and clean and felt very private! Topped off with a fab final evening making the most of the private cinema with a vast array of movies and Netflix! Thank you for a fab holiday! Have already recommended to friends and family! A warm welcome on our arrival. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ringslade. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The barn was very well furnished and equipped, with detailed information 'how to' about the equipment, which we found very useful. Everything worked well. Also provided was a good, thick file of places to visit, walks, leisure activities, places to eat etc. This again was well thought out and useful. Good WiFi signal. We did not use all the facilities (cinema or the fire pit) but would be great for summer. Will certainly be returning and highly recommend Ringslade. And thanks for the cream tea! Family friendly, spacious yet homely. Perfect location for the coast, Dartmoor, towns and cities. Brilliant.

Marked down on cleanliness due to the amount of cobwebs. Otherwise the cottage was very clean. A great place to stay. Everything you could need. Owners very friendly and helpful, especially with setting up the cinema screen. Cream tea left for us was a nice touch. Very quiet location although overlooked through the week. Would happily visit again.
