This charming cottage enjoys a peaceful location, within easy reach of the local attractions including the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Nestled peacefully in the rolling countryside, this traditional Welsh barn has been finished to a good standard and is just a stones’ throw away from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The cottage boasts a large enclosed garden with a patio area which is perfect for unwinding after a busy days exploration. The area itself has lots to offer, including fantastic walks along the iconic coastal path where you will find the picturesque harbour towns of Porthgain and Solva, offering unblemished beaches, boutique shops and irresistible restaurants. Visitors can enjoy a host of activities such as horse riding and golf, as well as surfing at Newgale Beach with its permanent summer surf school. The small city of St Davids is well worth the visit, featuring the magnificent 12th century cathedral and medieval ruins of the Bishop’s Palace, both spectacular landmarks to explore. Away from the coast, Pembrokeshire’s countryside is just as promising with its array of charming market towns and medieval castles dotted around the county; history is only a short drive away to be explored. Pembrokeshire’s award-winning leisure attractions including Oakwood and Folly Farm are within easy reach and provide a thrilling day out for the family! This house is situated in a very quiet, remote location. Ideal if you want to get away from it all. The accommodation is of a high standard with very comfortable beds and a well appointed kitchen. Both lounges have comfortable seating and a television. Reasonable WiFi is available throughout the building. Both bathrooms worked well and there was plenty of hot water. Outside there is a pleasant garden with garden furniture. The long clothes line made it easy to dry things in good weather. The addition of a tumble dryer in the washing machine area also made drying easy when wet. There is ample parking plus a garage which easily holds one car.

Lovely cottage and we would stay here again and recommend. We had a couple of issues with electricity going off so some food in 'fridge was spoiled (my smoked salmon!).. Owners came straight out after we 'phoned them (had to drive up the road to do so as no signal on mobiles (see below)) and, after the second issue, brought us some freshly laid eggs from their chickens. Nice touch! They also left us a bottle or red wine for our arrival. I was concerned that there was no landline and no mobile phone signal at the cottage and, if one had required emergency services, a 5 minute drive to get a signal would be required. Dongle did not work either. I thus think a landline should be installed if possible. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay here in this lovely location.

Peaceful location but plenty to do within a short distance. beautiful beaches and coastal walks, good pubs with hearty fair, sea kayaking, snorkeling, horse riding, surfing lessons and country walks to name but a few activities to try. St davids and Haverford West are a short drive away, we enjoyed every moment of our holiday in this excelent, clean and highly equipped cottage. the welcome pack was perfect and the buildings standard of finish was more than we expected, the sun room was where we spent most of our relaxing time. we would love to book it again.

Lovely cottage in an excellent location if you like peace and quiet and rural views which we do. The cottage was well appointed and bigger than we thought so we had a great stay. The only down side was the outside furniture that definitely needs replacing as it's old and broken

We had a great time at the cottage and enjoyed the tranquil setting and beautiful view, the lounge conversatory was fab! Minor improvements could include little bowls for olives and snacks and more toilet roll and bin sacks!
