Underrated 10+ in all areas!! The property itself is absolutely immaculate!! The kitchen is very well equipped 3 bedrooms with quality beds and bedding to match… The owners actually live next door and you won’t find nicer people. Situated down a quiet country lane it’s very quiet indeed, the lawned garden is enormous and beautifully maintained, great for kids & dogs etc..Skye bridge is 5 minutes away, Plockton is just 5 miles away…Co-op just down the road etc.. great base to start from…one minor negative or positive depending on your view point, no Wi-Fi which is down to BT not the owners…we actually spoke with our teenage daughters in the evening which made a welcome change….Overall it’s probably the best place we have stayed in over the years and in my opinion somewhat underpriced for the standard of the property inside and out.

Everything was just as we expected in this lovely holiday let. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. We would recommend Reraig Beag to any of our friends without hesitation .

The cottage is clean and very well appointed and has a beautiful garden behind it. It also has a busy campsite in front of it, which came as a bit of a surprise. Fortunately the site was pretty quiet, probably because it was an exceptionally rainy week. The double bed was not as comfortable as we'd like - new mattress needed perhaps? However the rest of the furnishings were good, and the kitchen was very well equipped apart from the lack of a dishwasher. The TV was very temperamental and on the occasions we wanted to watch anything we relied on the DVDs we had brought with us. The lack of WiFi puzzled us, given that we were yards from the camp site which evidently had good connections - and WiFi would have been useful since the telephone signal is virtually non-existent. Nice Spar up the road and a good Co-op in Lochalsh - and the Skye Bridge is a delight. I am fully aware of Covid issues - we are both in our seventies and very careful - but I still don't understand why we need to be chucked out at 9 am when we are two people in a cottage which can accommodate a family of five and two pets - surely if there is time to clean up after them between 9 and 5 then there would be more than enough time to clean up after us, even if we left at 10? But a good week.
