Description

There is so much to see and do in the area you will be spoilt for choice. With wildlife, dramatic scenery and beaches, you’re sure to return.

This stunning and contemporary detached house is located in Cashleen on the scenic Renvyle Peninsula which is on the Wild Atlantic Way. There is a wonderful beach just a stone’s throw away and the property boasts unrivalled panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean from all rooms. With a stunning interior, the property comes highly recommended, and is ideal for families and groups of friends. It is perfectly located for exploring the Connemara area, or you can just sit by the window or on the patio enjoying the unspoilt views.

The area offers wonderful shops, bars and eateries, outdoor land and water based activities, wonderful coastal and hill walks, traditional music, song and dance and lots more.

The tranquil Renvyle Peninsula is perched on the far western edge of Ireland. It is a place which promises relaxation, peace and tranquillity with fresh sea air and the closeness of nature. Throughout the amazing landscape, you will find Derryinver Quay and Ballinakill Harbour, where you can take part in scenic coastal cruises and sea angling trips. You will see a variety of wildlife including grey seals and pods of dolphins, which are frequent visitors to the area, and it is also home to a large variety of sea and cliff birds including wild ducks, cormorants, herons, gulls, terns, oyster catchers, guillemots and curlews.

The peninsula has something to offer visitors of all ages and interests, and is well served by shops, cafes and bars, with a post office and churches. The village comes alive at night with plenty of live music, song and dance in the bars and community halls. Irish nights are held every Wednesday evening during the summer months in Tullycross village.

The idyllic sandy beaches, swimming, scuba diving, shore angling, lake and river fishing, pony trekking, hill climbing, sea angling charters, an adventure centre, aquarium, maritime museum and coastal cruises will keep all visitors busy with things to do.

Every May Day bank holiday weekend, the area celebrates the well-known Connemara Mussel Festival which includes lots of activities including music, workshops, craft fairs, demonstrations and of course, lots of mussels to enjoy!

Often referred to as an area with the most beautiful landscape in the world, Renvyle is a wonderland of breathtaking views, walking and cycling trails and many activities.

Visit Renvyle Point and watch the sun setting behind the old castle ruins on a fine summer’s evening - it is a sight to behold!
