Very comfortable and well equipped cottage in a lovely village. Enjoyed the viaduct walks at Kirkby Stephen and visiting Acorn Bank garden.

Great little cottage in the village of Orton. Well equipped with everything you would need for a shortbreak. The village or Orton is lovely with a nice put, cafe, local shop and a chocolate factory! We walked the circular walk from orton taking in Orton Scar & gamelands stone circle. The cottage has lots of walking maps too if you want to go further. The little welcome hamper was a nice treat on arrival. Like the other reviews mention there is no wifi but this wasn't an issue for us.
