Lovely cottage in a great location for day trips to places like Chester zoo and Cheshire oaks. Cottage has everything you could need and the owners are really nice and helpful. Would definitely go back and stay here again.

We stayed at the cottage over Christmas. This is a lovely location. Hosts meet you on arrival. Very friendly and helpful. Beautiful cottage. The cottage is right next to the owners house. You don’t see them unless you need assistance. Would definitely recommend. Everything clean and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A really comfy and cosy cottage in a delightful area. Waking to the gorgeous countryside views was absolutely wonderful. This was an early family Christmas break and the Christmas decor and log burner made the break so enjoyable. A really nice pub is fairly close to the cottage and there are great walks. It’s also close enough to visit Chester, plus Cheshire Oaks and we even travelled to Liverpool. The owner Jane was also extremely welcoming. The fittings within the cottage are of high quality and it’s very tastefully decorated. This is a great property for a family, but I’m not sure if it would be ideal for 2 couples even though it easily sleeps 4 people. The upstairs has quite low ceilings for adults and the only bathroom is also the ensuite of the downstairs bedroom. However, that said we will be returning as we loved our stay!

Really enjoyed our stay however would not return as one bathroom with access through bedroom not good for us would prefer if there could be a toilet put upstairs.

Cosy, clean and family friendly cottage in a peacful setting. We stayed with our 9 month old who loved crawling around in the open plan cottage. Excellent facilities and everything you could wish for in a holiday cottage, we will definately visit again.

Spent 4 lovely nights at this beautiful cottage set within the owners grounds in a stunning location. The photographs dont do it justice! The facilities within the cottage suited our family perfectly; we have two daughters aged 14 and 4. They were excited to sleep in the spacious loft area, sit and read and play games up there. Outside there are glorious views of perfect Cheshire! We thoroughly enjoyed the walks nearby and saw plenty of wild birds, rabbits and squirels. A great base to explore from. Friendly owners. Would we go back? Absolutely! It was truly beautiful.

For over 40 years we've rented cottages all over the UK, Scotland and Ireland but never have we had such a complete equiped place like Red House Farm Cottage. Everything you need was there, fantastic. As it didn't spoil a single moment of our stay we would have been happy with a coffeemachine. Fully deserved a 10 from us and more so after Chelsea's FA Cup win which will make the owner very happy.
