Lovely cottage with beautiful views. Would recommend only four guests in there as it’s quite small with doors not being able to be shut because of furniture. Lovely host and hot tub is a great plus

We loved our stay, the cottage was beautiful and had everything you needed. The hot tub was great. This place would be perfect for one or two couples. Will definitely book to stay again. Amazing location all you need is only a short drive away. Thanks again for having us. :)

Fabulous cottage set on a working farm, stunning views and amazing hot tub. Spent a week staying at Stable Cottage, which was an ideal base for getting out and about and enjoying Sherwood Forest, ice cream parlours and lots of museums. Especially recommend The Alders at Ollerton, which does a variety of bar meals and not too far away. Very helpful owners

We stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The owners are super friendly and any questions are answered quickly. The cottage is gorgeous and suited us perfectly. The only thing i would say is that there were quite a few cobwebs in the cottage that could have been removed easily with a vacuum. The views are fantastic and the owners hounds are gorgeous dogs. You may hear them early on a morning (it is a working farm after all) but that didn't bother us. My 10 year old daughter loved going over to stroke them. Towels for the hot tub were provided which was a nice addition and the hot tub is inspected daily to make sure water levels etc are correct. There is plenty of seating on the front next to the hot tub to read etc and take in the fantastic views.Local shops are just a few minutes drive away and they have some fantastic restaurants nearby. We will definitely be staying here again!

I recently stayed here for my 40th me and the girls had a great time and really enjoyed it the only negative i would say is if your party girls like we are maybe go somewhere else as its very quiet as no stereos are allowed and its more for people who want to chill and relax to be honest david and lesley were quite understanding and very nice but its more for quiet people who want to chill and not party but apart from that it was great its certainly a weekend to remember .
