Fantastic stay at railway cottage. Perfect location nestled among the hills and loved the little touches like biscuits for our four legged friend and bubbly for new year. Well equipped cottage with everything you need for a break away. Would highly recommend.

Overall this is a lovely little cottage, fully equipped with everything you could need. My only slight reservation would be that it would be nice to have a sofa on a romantic break, as the two separate armchairs didn't allow for a cosy cuddle! Otherwise a fabulous spot, supermarket and excellent visitor centre within very easy walking distance, and Michelin star restaurant at the local pub less than a stone's throw away!

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for leaving a review. We're very pleased you found our cottage comfortable. We have had a couple of guests in the past saying they wished there was a settee instead of two arm chairs. We did take the comments on board and have been on the lookout for a small sofa. As we are somewhat limited for space in a one bedroom cottage we didn't want to cram too much furniture into the living room, taking into account that some guests who bring dogs along may also want room for their dog beds. But a few days ago we found one we hope will fit the bill and will install that in the cottage, still leaving one armchair. We hope this will keep everyone happy 😊. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you may return at a later date.

A lovely cottage in a perfect location. There were local walks as well as it being convenient for other places eg Glencoe with beautiful walks, Fort William and Oban. Unfortunately the weather was a bit wet with rain every day but we still made the most of our stay and the cottage was warm and comfortable.

A lovely little cottage which was a great base for exploring the local area- a short 25 min drive to Fort William, but we went as far afield as Oban, Inverness, Aviemore etc. The cottage was perfect - a real 'home from home' feel- with a comfy double bed, really comfortable seating area for watching TV and all the appliances etc which you might need (extensive range of cooking utensils, washing machine, ironing board, hairdryer). There is parking on the drive directly in front of the cottage which is handy when you need to pack rucksacks for walking every day. The village is very small with not much to do- although the pub (walking distance) does great food and there is a co-op in walking distance too if you wanted to cook meals in the evening. there is a local takeaway too which does fish and chips and pizza- we had the pizza one night and it was fine. Very highly recommended.

What a wonderful peaceful cottage, comfortable, spacious, lots of hot water, fully equipped and with a Co- op, pub with delicious food and dog walks moments away! Garden was perfect for dogs and the location was great for short car journeys to walks, Glen Coe, Fort William and Oban. We loved it and if you are looking to stay in that area, we most definitely recommend that you book this cottage!
