Along with three former, above ground bunkers, there is accommodation to suit individuals as well as a large group. The Tower (ref: UKC1178) has double bedrooms on three floors with the living room located on the fourth floor, boasting stunning 360° views. Hurricane (ref: UKC1179), Lancaster (ref: UKC1180) and Spitfire (ref: UKC1181) offer comfortable, single-storey accommodation, ideal for a family holiday or a break away for friends.
Great fun for the younger ones is the additional quirky feature of the Westland Lynx helicopter, set within the grounds of RAF Wainfleet. With a double bed, mini-fridge and TV, guests can book this direct with the owner, in addition to their main accommodation, for just £35 per night.
The bombing range, which The Tower was built to observe, first came in to use in the 1890s as an army artillery range and becoming a bombing range in 1938, which is where The Dambusters practised during WWII. You can still see the ships that were used as targets until 2009.
The land and marshes around are abundant with wildlife and great for dog friendly walks. It is possible to walk along the old sea banks to Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve with its visitors centre. Inland, Friskney offers a village shop as well as the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park which is home to ten tigers amongst other wild animals. There is a pub serving good food and drink at the end of the lane and the visitors centre at Batemans Brewery is just 3 miles and away always worth a visit. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 8 miles away and Boston, with the famous St Botolph’s Church, which boasts an extraordinarily tall tower, known as the Boston Stump being 14 miles away. Beach 8 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 22 guests.

Amazing accommodation, very different from anything we have stayed in before. The Tower exceeded our expectations as a holiday destination. Stunning views and welcoming owners, we definitely plan to visit again. The opportunity for a night in a Lynx helicopter added to our memories of a wonderful holiday.

If you are looking for accommodation that is quirky and away from all the hustle and bustle of every day life then this is just perfect. You can come here and totally switch off. The views from the top of the tower are amazing. Both the tea room and local pub at the top of the road offer a very friendly service and a great selection of food. Tesco are able to deliver an online grocery shop if you prefer to stay in. Will almost definitely be back.

We were a party of three couples celebrating a 50th Birthday. Views from the tower lounge were amazing, albeit flat of course, but were were entertained by a kestral flying close and enjoyed watching the flocks of birds out on the marsh. Hot tub great.

Had a great week at the Tower. Only thing that let it down was the smell from the bathrooms and the flies.Lots of flies on bedroom windows .Also the smell as you come into property .Smelled very dog/urine .We did find that a little off putting. Prices have gone up next year a lot more for same week so would stay again if these issues have been resolved. View was amazing . Lovely and peaceful area. Great hot tub and added bonus of a games room. Will the owner was great and did come out to try and sort out smell as soon as we mention the issue but smell was there for rest of week.

We had a fantastic time at The Tower. Such an unusual and quirky place to stay. The 360o views from the top are amazing and make meal times that bit more special. Will the owner was really helpful and on hand for any questions.

Had a fab week here, the views were sublime and the wildlife was a constant source of entertainment and wonder for all ,especially the crabs in the inlets on the marshes which kept the four year old entertained for ages. Very good standard of accommodation in the tower especially the bathrooms and bedrooms. The living area managed to be cosy and spacious at the same time. My only niggle,as the head cook and bottle washer was the kitchen, although well equipped it was a tad on the small side and the heavy outward opening fire door became the bane of my life as the week went on. Couldn't help but think the large room downstairs would make an excellent kitchen /diner area as an alternative. All on all though brilliant holiday let for an active family holiday, would most definitely go again.

We had a fantastic time at the tower, a totally different experience! The kids absolutely loved running about and enjoyed the games room on site. We took walkie talkies so we could call them back into the tower, so we didn't have to run up and down the stairs. The hot tub was an added bonus and was great to get into after walking all day. It was nice to sit at the top of the tower and watch all the farming going on around us. The owners were very welcoming, Will was there to greet us and show us around the site. Would defiantly recommend it to friends.

This is a get away from it all property and is very unique. The owner was very welcoming and only a phone call away should you need anything. The RAF base is just fantastic and very secure. We loved every second from the beautiful sitting area to the games room. Walks from the property take you to the down to marshes. Surrounded by farming land this really is bliss ! All finished off with a soak in the hot tub - just perfect !! Will be returning as a great venue to book out for the whole family as 4 bunkers as well as the Tower.

Staying at the tower was a unique experience. There is everything you require in the kitchen and the bedrooms all being ensuite is a bonus. The views from the lounge are wonderful. The tower is a little remote but if you like your privacy then it is perfect. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
