Nestled on a quaint side street with the river running alongside and just a stone’s throw from the heart of one of Exmoor’s best towns, Dulverton, we have Quicks Cottage, a fabulously quirky one-bedroom cottage perfect for a couple looking to escape and relax. Step through the front door into the open plan lounge and kitchen, beamed ceilings and a fantastic wood burner greet you in the lounge, with comfortable seating and ambient lighting, it’s a wonderful spot for reading in front of the fire. Up two steps to the compact kitchen, with all you will need during your stay! Head up the stairs (Please note these are steep as is expected in this age of cottage) to the bedroom, where the double bed awaits you under the vaulted ceiling with Velux windows bringing in the natural light during the day or seeing the stars at night, the en-suite bathroom has a small bath with shower over, sink and toilet.
With Dulverton centre on your doorstep, you have a wonderful range of shops, independent bakeries, cafés, pubs and restaurants within a 3 minute walk, wake up in the morning and stroll down to get the paper and fresh produce for breakfast or head out for dinner after a busy day exploring Exmoor! There are walks galore from right outside your front door or jump in the car and delve deeper into Exmoor and explore the miles of moors, spot the Exmoor Ponies, visit quaint tea rooms nestled in tiny villages for a cream tea, walk over the famous Tarr Steps and enjoy a picnic overlooking stunning views or head to the beaches of Minehead and Porlock! One thing is for sure, you will never run out of things to do while staying here!
