Great place to stay right in the centre of town. 2 mins from the beach & the i360 in one direction & the town centre in the other. You couldn’t find a better location, it’s perfect. Property comes with a garage which is wonderful (apart from when ignorant people park immediately outside it on the double yellow lines! - esp in the evening). Given the central location, you may not even need the car during your stay. Owner met us upon arrival with the keys, he was very friendly & informative. The property has almost everything that you could need during your stay. Welcome orange juice, bread, butter, milk & biscuits were provided. Dog bowls & blankets were also provided. One big, big plus that I must mention is that unlike all the other cottages we’ve booked in the past the wifi was perfect! No probs at all! It was a very refreshing change. As a dog owner I have to mention that Brighton was one of the first holidays I’ve been on that wasn’t really ideal for the dog. If you walk to the beach, it says no dogs between certain months of the year which applied to us in May. It says that 500m East & West of the sign you can walk the dog but after walking for miles in both directions I couldn’t see any signs that stated it was now ok to walk the dog on the beach. Other beaches usually sign to say it’s now ok 2 walk the dog. If like mine your dog needs a run with the beach out, no dog friendly fields, woods anywhere giving him a run was very difficult. The owners info pack says to walk your dog in the park around the corner but it says strictly no dogs! Many people walked their dogs through the town centre, I just want to emphasise that finding somewhere to let the dog off for a run was v difficult in Brighton. The beach was pebbled not sandy which was a little disappointing but the beach was still a great place with cafes/restaurants (pubs for those interested) right on the seafront. The town was very vibrant & cosmopolitan with cafes, restaurants, shops, pubs everywhere. They were streets & streets of little boutiques that reminded me of the bizaar district in Cairo. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Brighton & I’d certai ly stay here again if we were visiting Brighton again. IF I were to have any complaints (none which the owner could do anything about) it would be selfish people blocking you in with illegal parking (perhaps a sign on the garage door might possibly help?) & junkie homeless people loitering. There’s an alcove just opposite the front door & another just after the garage door that seems to attract some of the many homeless people that you encounter all over Brighton. They can be a bit loud & coarse (amongst themselves, not to you. When we spoke to them they were very polite!) & unfortunately they hang around as they’re drinking & taking drugs! - which isn’t ideal.

A very warm welcome. The house had a lovely feel to it and was well equipped. Perfect location for seafront and city centre. And so dog friendly with owners supplying bowls and towels, plus other human essentials...bread milk etc.

Excellent house, fabulous location. The owners were great. We really appreciated the milk, bread, butter and cake that were there on our arrival! The only one minor improvement would be to have a dishwasher in the house. But if you’re eating out a lot then it wouldn’t be an issue. Overall a fantastic stay and we would definitely go again.

Probably the best equipped and thought out property we've stayed in. Location was superb a few hundred yards to the seafront, right by the i360 and the Churchill Square shopping centre is less than a 5 minute walk. There is a Waitrose and a Sainsbury's local very close by. We stayed during Christmas week, found the property to be in a quiet position considering it's location. Garage is wide inside, so great for unloading and loading. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed an Autumn break at Queensbury Cottage. Great location for exploring Brighton. The owners were welcoming and helpful and supplied us with some useful basic food items. The cottage is clean and well appointed and in a quiet place. Lots to visit in the locality, including the i360 tower which was a great experience. Very dog friendly. We hope to stay again next year.
