The cottage was in a good location. There were places to walk to. Shops were not far, by car. It is a quiet place.

An excellent cottage in an excellent location. Everything you need in the cottage in terms of equipment. We didn't have great weather, but on the days that we did, we enjoyed drinks and nibbles on the balcony overlooking the tranquillity of the marina. Places to eat and drink are only a short walk away and longer walk along the Foss Dyke took us to the Pyewipe Inn or straight into Lincoln with an abundance of places to eat, drink and visit. We also spent a day at the Bomber Command Memorial on the edge of Lincoln. Very informative and the guided tour was well worth taking. If you are looking for a holiday with peaceful and quiet surroundings interspersed with walking, shops, historic visitor attractions, eating and drinks, then we would recommend Quay Side.
