Great location close to Bowness centre. The property is very clean, tidy and well equipped with good wifi. The double garage is a bonus. The view of Lake Windemere is lovely. We will definitely be returning.

The cottage was very good, the only real negative was the unbearable heat, 34 degrees in the late afternoon and evening. The was a fan available, but this made little differance and also having the curtains drawn. The lounge being upstairs of course was the hottest place, at least the bedrooms were cooler. I know this weather is unually hot but I do think the problem needs to be addressed, maybe some kind of blinds to the extra large windows. The heat was so intollerable for us in the property that we went home two days early, which was a shame.

The apartment is in a wonderful location with beautiful views over Lake Windermere. It is certainly was a home from home with all the comforts and everything you would need for your stay. Just a couple of things need mentioning; when we arrived the bathroom looked liked it hadn't been cleaned - the wash basin and toilet top were covered in a fine dust as was the wash basin and underneath the shower mat hadn't been cleaned! Had to get the bleach out and clean both so this needs to be addressed. Everything else in the apartment was clean and comfortable. We had a fabulous holiday and would certainly visit Windermere View again, didn't want to come home!

The property is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the Boat piers that take you all over lake windermere. Great location and great place to base yourself to explore the lakes. lots of pubs and restaurants in Bowness if you don't want to cook yourself. Thoroughly enjoyed our week
