The Old Coach House is a large, converted barn and has been carefully styled by its interior designer owner to provide a superbly comfortable and a very special holiday abode. Follow the leafy lanes from the main A40 and arrive within the tranquil setting and quiet countryside. The house is part of a community of eight barns and is sumptuously comfortable; the kitchen and dining area is chic and well equipped for all your holiday needs. The main living room has large windows giving a light, airy atmosphere and the comfortable leather sofas and wood burner makes it ideal for sociable evenings in. Upstairs, the four luxurious and spacious bedrooms (one of which is en-suite) are all dressed to impress with sumptuous beds, furnishings and linens, and as bedrooms should, they will make you wish for bedtime! Both the bathrooms are elegant and well designed and offer perfect sanctuaries after a day on the coast. The private garden is complete with rattan dining table and chairs, two sun loungers, and rattan sofas. Here you can enjoy al fresco dining and fire up the ceramic Egg barbecue for a Pembrokeshire feast of local produce, or relax with a good book and soak up the sunshine.
From the house, walk out into surrounding woodland or take a stroll down to the banks of the Cleddau River, a wide gently flowing waterway bordered by reeds and woodland and full of bird and wildlife. Although part of a courtyard of properties, the Old Coach House has an acre of private meadow, perfect for games with the children! This is the perfect spot for a special break with family or friends. The central location in the county ensures easy access for exploring the delights of Pembrokeshire.
The Old Coach House was originally part of the estate at Picton Castle - now a neighbouring property. The castle is open to visitors with guided tours offering an insight into the history of this interesting half classic castle/half grand country house. Narberth is about 8 miles away with a reputation as a great place to shop. There are useful grocery and everyday shops as well as boutique clothes and gift shops.
