The proud owners have spared no expense on this beautiful holiday cottage. Nestled within sight of the church on the village green you really could not ask for a more idyllic location. With the historic name etched proudly over the front door, this cottage is part of Gower history. Beautiful exposed beams, welcoming log burner and sumptuous furnishings make you feel immediately cosseted and relaxed on entering the welcoming lounge. Polished oak floors throughout lead you naturally into the cosy dining room, ideal for intimate lingering dinner parties. Step down into the light flooded kitchen for a complete change of atmosphere with bespoke handmade fittings throughout, this room has a real wow factor. The huge Aga naturally takes centre stage and is perfectly complimented by the sparkling granite worktops and gleaming artisan terracotta tiled floor. The kitchen adjoins the vast breakfast and family room with views onto the terrace and garden. This room is a triumph, inviting conviviality - cook, chat, have a drink or just sit and enjoy the glorious sunshine as it pours through the fully glazed gable windows. A laundry area and a luxury shower room are conveniently placed on the ground floor to ease the flow of busy family gatherings. On the first floor the thoughtful and tasteful decor continues to impress. The master bedroom has a contemporary en-suite and pretty country views while the second bedroom looks over the peaceful village green as does the charming third twin bedroom. All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with superior beds and quality linens. The beautiful family bathroom with a porcelain neo Victorian basin and deep comfortable bath is perfect for an old fashioned relaxing soak. The rear garden is a delight, complete with a little bridge and a natural brightly sparkling stream. A great spot for alfresco dining, or a quiet coffee in the morning sun. There is also storage available for bikes and surfboards. The Brewery is superb throughout, with your every comfort thoughtfully provided for. Step outside onto the green to follow the ancient byway to Cefn Bryn and King Arthur’s Stone, a Neolithic burial chamber that stands mysterious at the top. Legend says it was formed from a stone thrown out of King Arthur’s shoe - stunning sunsets and panoramic views of the North and South Gower beaches await you here. it is possible to see all the way to Pembrokeshire and Lundy Island from this magnificent atmospheric place. Wild ponies wonder freely, Red Kites fly over head, this is a truly beautiful wild place. Just 3 miles takes you to the glorious privately owned Oxwich Bay, part of Penrice Estate. Walk for hours among the unspoilt protected sand dunes and sweeping bay. Hire a sailing dingy, kayak or long board to admire Gower from the sea. Seals and dolphins are a common sight near these unspoilt shores.

Great house, being both cosy and spacious ,looking as good as it's photographs. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Optional Aga cooking was great fun and there is an excellent level of kitchen and dinning equipment. All the family ages greatly enjoyed this house. Garden is delightful and set in a beautiful village this house provides an excellent base to explore wonderful Gower.

This is what we call a QUALITY cottage!!! Very friendly owners and a perfect place to stay! We felt immediately at home! Great location to explore Gower. We would love to come back and definately recommend!
