Excellent location and the property was in a good condition. TV reception was very poor for terrestrial stations, good for smart tv channels, which stopped us from seeing the news each morning or evening. Little clothes hanging space in the double room. Going out of season, pre June 1st, parking wasn’t an issue but if going after this date it maybe a problem.

Puffin is a delightful apartment overlooking the harbour and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The shower room is in urgent need of attention following a leak. There was no mattress protector on the double bed although the instructions indicated there should be. Instructions could be written in a more welcoming way as they sound rather officious.

What strikes you about Puffin as soon as you enter the apartment is the wonderful view and proximity to the sea. We loved opening the doors onto the balcony and listening to the sea, enjoying the views of the beautiful coastline as we ate our meals and even spotting a seal in the bay one evening. The location in the centre of Portscatho is ideal and you are right on the coastal path for wonderful walks in each direction. The apartment is comfortably furnished and the kitchen very well equipped for self catering. We did have some issues with the television but were able to use the internet for viewing when the freesat signal was not working. Not having a parking place is a slight disadvantage and in high season this might be a problem. We found found some on street parking some distance from the apartment but, as we didn't use the car all week, this was not an issue for us. Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable week staying in Puffin and would love to return sometime.
