Elegant manor house ideal for larger groups of friends and family, with open fire and clay pigeon shooting.

Set amidst woodland, Presaddfed is an elegant manor house which combines 21st century comfort with the grace and charm of another age - there is even a piano in the drawing room. It is ideal for friends to celebrate a special occasion such as milestone birthdays, anniversaries, or organise a themed weekend, or for large families wishing to share a wonderful holiday. Clay pigeon shooting is available on request. The grounds of Presaddfed are part of the Anglesey red squirrel project and several breeding pairs are resident within the grounds and may be spotted in the gardens. Anglesey has many beaches with long stretches of golden sands and is well known for being the mother of Wales due to its fertile fields forming the breadbasket of North Wales. Its history includes a castle at Beaumaris built by Edward I. There is also a ferry port linking the island from Holyhead to Dublin (95 minutes). Good water sports can be found at popular Rhosneigr, there are good golf courses and good restaurants within easy reach. Catering for celebration dinners/parties by arrangement. It was a lovely homely house with a warm and welcoming feel to it. It would be great to be able to open more of the windows in the bedroom, some of which had been painted shut and some of the beds were quite uncomfortable but this did not detract from a lovely holiday.

Returned to Presaddfed for the second time, lovely to see that many of the bathrooms have been updated to a high standard. The house is great for a big family gathering (19 of us aged 2 to 86) loads of communal space but some quiet corners to get a away for some peace and quiet. Would definitely visit again.

We are a family of ten adults and ten children, we had our annual family bank holiday weekend away at Presaddfed in May 2018. We couldn’t fault anything about the property every room in the house is of generous proportion, the bedrooms are fantastic no falling out as to who got the best as every bedroom was more than generous. The location was brilliant just a short drive to many lovely beaches. The owner Rosemary met us on arrival she was such a lovely lady, she gave us a tour of the house and asked us to contact her if we had any needs, which was very nice. I would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone who wanted a house for a large family gathering, it’s well worth a visit.

Our family stayed at Presaddfed in Easter 2018. We were 10 adults and 15 children. The bedrooms were comfortable, with TV and most had en-suites. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had the luxury of plenty of equipment, which was a bonus. The dining room seated us all comfortably and was very atmospheric.
