When you rise in the morning, you can cook a hearty breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen, to prepare you for the day ahead. You may wish to enjoy a morning coffee in the conservatory, with views over the surrounding countryside, whilst planning your day’s activities.
When you return in the evening, there is a quaint country pub within Horningsham village where you can enjoy delicious home cooked food using locally sourced produce, before retiring back to Pottle Cottage for the evening. The bedrooms are stylishly decorated and the master bedroom has a kingsize bed and en-suite facilities, for extra privacy.
There are many places of interest to visit in the area. The cottage is in need of some tlc. It was not clean. The furniture is old and the chairs in the sitting room are unstable with stitching coming away. The coffee table wobbles and really needs to be replaced. There is one shower in reality and it doesn’t work well. We stayed with our three children and had hoped to sit in the garden while they played- the garden furniture it not capable of being used. If we sat on it, I fear it would have collapsed. The patio needs clearing of moss. Overall a very disappointing cottage which has no business being classified as luxury.

Everything about the cottage is fantastic, the only thing we could fault was the garden furniture which needs some TLC or replacing.
