I liked the cottage and found it comfortable. Changing the internet provider mid week was a bit tricky for one of us as they needed to be in contact about an event they were organising the following week. However, it was resolved within 36 hours. I would suggest that a blind in the smaller back bedroom would help as the curtains stand too far from the wall. I would give some added privacy. Also the garden could do with a bit of care as it has the potential to be a lovely place to sit out but the garden is smothered in rose bay willow herb. Found owner responsive when I contacted him about the internet and an issue we had.

Overall the house was fine, but I was expecting a more traditional cottage not a semi detached at the end of a row of houses!

Great location for exploring Assynt and Ullapool. Interesting, comfortable, well-equipped, contemporary property with a 'sit-out' garden. Well placed by the Ullapool Hill Path, and within walking distance of the harbour-side. Helpful owner. Plenty of tourist information available, and the Tourist Information Office is only a short walk away.
