    We had a lovely weekend

Sadly not up to the standard we have come to expect from holiday cottages. Dusty, dated and downright dangerous in places. There were layers of dust on picture frames, skirting boards etc. The furnishings were dated and not comfortable. The gardens were untidy and weed filled, there were dwarf walls falling down and tiles all loose on the patio, which was dangerous. Although the owner had left the house well equipped I’m afraid it really needs some serious money spending on the place to make it a cosy and comfortable holiday home. Sorry, wanted to like it, but just couldn’t get past all the shortcomings.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; First of all, thank you for staying with us in the Porters and for your comments. We have taken note of your comments. We are disappointed to hear that you found the cleanliness poor as we strive upon the cleanliness of the property for every guest’s arrival. We are sorry to see you believe the furnishings are dated however we have had customers say they are comfortable and do give that cosy cottage feel which they have really enjoyed and gave great feedback on. The ‘dwarf wall’ did have small damages but has now been repaired. Our garden does have a greenhouse pond and a lot of flora and fauna and we do have a gardener that keeps this under control so we do apologise if you believe this was too busy. Again, we would like to thank you for your feedback and hope to see you again soon.

We had a great week staying in this well equipped and comfortable accommodation. The property is both family and pet friendly, and only a short walking distance from local amenities. The venue easily accommodated our family gathering, and we all enjoyed our visit to Wroxham.
