NT Sudbury Hall is 10 minutes away. Many country walks and footpaths are close by. Day rate health treatments or golf lessons can be arranged. Catering can also be arranged for guests.     Beautiful house with lots of space. However, it was difficult to find in the dark - limited instructions from the owners. We also requested the hot tub without realising that it cost an additional £300!! Absolutely ridiculous. I would not have booked this cottage if I had known - that was a primary reason we chose to stay here and then we didn't end up having it. We would have been happy to pay a hot tub deposit or a small fee, but £300 for the weekend was extortionate. The owners were totally unprofessional in dealing with our request - at one point we spoke to a teenage boy on the phone who didn't have a clue how to deal with our phone call. It was a real shame that these things put a dampner on the weekend because it was otherwise a lovely house.

    Response on behalf of the Owner; The guest was booked to stay at the Farmhouse for 7 nights and only enquired, never confirmed the hot tub booking. Our young lad answered the phone as both myself and husband were at hospital, but we spoke to the clients several times as did the Agency. The hot tub was offered to be installed as soon as we returned at an agreed cost however, this offer was declined. The property description clearly states that the hot tub is available by prior arrangement with the Owner at cost.
