Magnificent views across Mevagissey Harbour. Two bottles of milk were left in the fridge together with some clotted cream, scone and jam. Very thoughtful of the owners. Soft furnishings were a little tired but this certainly didn't spoil our holiday.

Cannot understand why caretaker does not answer her mobile phone or call me back. Cleanliness needs to be done more thoroughly (lots of cobwebs). Description and photos are out of date (there is wifi which we would have liked to know beforehand). Lack of instructions in the house concerning use of equipment and heating, waste disposal, etc)

We loved our holiday in Meva, as always. The house was cosy and had a great aspect. Some of the decor was starting to look a little worn, but overall it was very pleasant and well equipted. We would certainly stay there again.

The cottage location in terms of the view was excellent. However due to the narrow and often busy traffic on polkirt hill. Parking was a non starter even for unloading. Although the cottage was clean it smelt foisty which sadly was the first thing noticed on opening the door, and really needs a bit of a makeover to warrant the money. Parking on the road at the rear will save town centre parking but the footpath is steep and uneven and there is no lighting. So a torch required or walk the long route round on the road at night.
