Located just a few minutes from the harbour and beach, this stylish ground floor apartment sits in a beautiful area with much to do for all ages.

This stylish ground floor holiday apartment sits in one of Charlestown’s quiet developments, just a few minutes from the historic harbour. Formerly a foundry, the property has been sympathetically converted and retains much of the feel of the original building. Charlestown, an area of historic importance, feels untouched by modern life and is home to tall sailing ships, craft shops, a general store, award-winning restaurants, cafés, local pubs with live music and a small secluded beach. The village has been used as a setting for TV and films on many occasions including Poldark. It also has a heritage and shipwreck centre with relics from the Titanic. The surrounding area is abundant with National Trust properties and gardens such as Lanhydrock House, or visit Pinetum Park, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project. The stunning South West Coastal Path is easily reached on foot and provides stunning views and coastal walks, along with secluded beaches and pretty villages dotted along its shore. Porthpean to the west has a sailing club, while Carlyon Bay to the east has a beach restaurant and a links golf course. A short drive will bring you to Fowey, Lostwithiel, Newquay, Padstow and the north coast, a mecca for surfing and a completely different coastline for you to explore. Golf, cycling, horse riding and sailing are all available close by. Beach 550 yards. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

48" Freeview TV, DVD player, CD player and iPod dock.

Beautiful apartment in an amazing part of Cornwall - close to many amenities and tourist experiences; Beaches, historic places and the Eden Project. Only two small niggles - the on-suite shower was a bit small and the shower head did leak slightly depending on the angle.

    1) We were given an incorrect postcode in the joining instructions. 2) An otherwise lovely flat, well equipped and conveniently situated in a pleasant residential area is let down by the shower arrangements. Family bathroom appears to be intended for bathing, hair washing only as no shower curtain, only half tiled wall and there’s a picture over the bath. Shower in ensuite very small with overhead only shower which did not give either of us a pleasant shower. Also corner opening sliding doors did not make access easy, especially for any lady, say, size 14 or over or any chap who’s not as thin as he used to be. As I have mobility issues and need something easy to access, we will not be returning. 3) The parking bay was not marked but we followed instructions to find it.

The only thing that spoilt the apartment is that we were given 2 postcodes for the address, both of which were wrong. We would have been driving round forever had the owner not been understanding about me waking her up at midnight. The apartment itself was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for better

Excellent value, the best welcome pack yet. Will definitely stay again, some great pub's/restaurants close by.

Really happy with the apartment and goodies provided to welcome us. Also, the added extras of washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, etc, etc. Loved the double room & en suite, 2 bathrooms are a bonus. Kitchen really good size and nice to be part of the lounge. Been to Charlestown many times for a visit but lovely to be able to walk down to the harbour every day with 2 beaches to stroll along. Sea view between the house rooves, is a welcome sight for us midlanders! Would book this again.
