Spent a lovely week at the pigs house and couldn't have wished for better accommodation. Have stayed in many cottages prior to our stay here and this one was by far the best! Comfortable, clean, spacious, open and modern. A short drive from the nearest town and beautiful walks from the doorstep. Owners were welcoming and vey helpful throughout the stay and left a beautiful welcome pack of home baked bread, butter, scones, jam and cream with a bottle of fresh milk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Great break at The Pig House. Lovely and warm in the cold January weather. Everything you needed was provided, with the added bonus of a delicious welcome pack. Great location with loads to do only a short drive away with fabulous walks on your doorstep.

A fabulous cottage in a beautiful location. Perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet and no street lights - an idyllic country retreat. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful. I’d recommend the Pigs House to anyone looking for somewhere special to stay.

Lovely pre Christmas break. The property is stunning. Well laid out with everything you need. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good but the cottage more than made up for it. Keep an eye out for the deer in the garden.

We really enjoyed staying at Pigs House. So comfortable and clean, everything thing you needed was there, we would have liked it better if we could walk out to eat, but we had to use the car. Lovely time had and we would go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pigs House. Accommodation was excellent, the location was peaceful and ideal for us. Wildlife and farm animals surround you. Ideal location to visit Dorset, Devon and Somerset. Facilities at the accommodation were excellent. Everything you need for your stay. Spacious but cosy at the same time. Would definitely recommend the Pigs House to anyone who enjoys being in a quiet location. However, plenty to do within driving distances.

If you are looking for a secluded peaceful relaxing holiday location, this is it. The property is stunning. It is very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Whilst in a rural setting you are no more than 30-40 minutes from plenty of local sights/activities. The welcome pack of scones, jam, cream and local bread is an excellent touch and certainly much appreciated after a long drive. We will certainly look to book again.
