Wells-next-the-Sea, 8 miles, offers an excellent sandy beach with colourful beach huts, a small shopping town centre with many inns and restaurants, and a picturesque fishing harbour - popular for fresh shell fish. Further along the coast is Brancaster for an uncrowded sandy beach and golf course. Brancaster Staithe provides a popular venue for sailing and boating enthusiasts.The traditional seaside towns of Heacham and Hunstanton offer an array of activities for all ages. Many places of historical interest and stately homes are within the surrounding area. 20 minutes’ drive away is the historical town of Kings Lynn for shopping, market place, restaurants, inns and theatre, and also Norwich city for excellent shopping, castle museum, cathedral, theatre, market place, restaurants and inns.
