The cottage is situated not far from the main A2 to Dover. If you needed to open the windows, the traffic noise would have been quite intrusive. Although the cottage appeared superficially clean, there was considerable dust under the dining room table and under the bed. There were also many cobwebs present throughout the property. Whilst we appreciate that the cottage is in a rural location, some of these had been there for some time! The bed was very comfortable, but unfortunately the sofa in the lounge was not. Apart from the window in the bedroom, all the other windows in the property had frosted glass.
