Set in the delightful Eden Valley, this charming 18th century single storey holiday home was formerly the coach house and has been renovated to provide a contemporary, well furnished cottage. Standing in a quiet village location adjoining the owner’s home, the cottage has a pretty sitting-out area which attracts bird life. The village is just 3 miles from the historic and picturesque market town of Appleby, which has a good selection of shops, inns and restaurants. The Eden Valley area is popular for walking, cycling, pony trekking, golf and birdwatching. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach. The local pub is situated just 400 yards away. An equestrian centre (horse riding) 2 miles. Golf 4 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub 1½ miles.

    A very well-equipped property and a helpful owner. An excellent location for walking on the Pennine Way and in the Eden Valley. We would have liked some coat pegs - but understand the problem of trying to fit them in.
