Don’t worry about the parking, you can leave your car at the property and either walk or take a bus or taxi straight to the beach!Blackpool is a well-known seaside resort which children love, and Blackpool Zoo, Stanley Park and the Model Village are all within walking distance. Several good family pubs and fast food outlets are nearby, along with a large supermarket. The centre of Blackpool, with its many tourist attractions such as the famous Blackpool Tower, Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre, Madame Tussauds, piers and of course the beach itself, is no more than a mile away. The famous illuminations, which run from the beginning of September to the beginning of November, stretch for over 6 miles and attract millions of visitors each year.Why not visit the other resorts on the Fylde coast, such as the more sedate Thornton-Cleveleys, the traditional seaside town of Southport or the cosmopolitan Lytham St Annes with its famous golf course, amazing restaurants, cafés and bars? Other places of interest to explore within easy driving distance is the shopping outlet at Fleetwood, 20 minutes away, or the town of Preston is 40 minutes away. Should you want to escape the coast, Lancashire’s beautiful picturesque landscapes such as Ribble Valley, the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park are accessible by car in approximately 1 hour.
