A lovely cottage in a beautiful, quiet village. Owner is next door but does not interfere and provided us with eggs. Narrow lanes to negotiate to reach cottage but fantastic views. Good, quiet, local pub next to the property which was handy if you don"t want to drive in the evening. We enjoyed exploring the village and local church is very interesting.

Quite a nice property but in a very inaccessible position. Single track to get to property with poor signage in the area generally. Driving anywhere from the property was very stressful.

Excellent location if you want to get away from all the noise. Had a lovely stay.

We had a very pleasant week at Penny Corner. The Cottage had everything we required for our stay. The owners are very nice, welcoming and accommodating. A small enclosed garden area by the door would be nice to sit out in rather than on the gravel drive, but that's only a small niggle. The 5 Bells Pub next door is OK if a little 'Hit & Miss' particularly if they have a function in their camping field (which they did for both week-ends we were there). But there are plenty of other worthy hostelries in the area. The location is ideal for exploring Dorset and the Devon Coast around Seaton and Exmouth etc. Overall a very nice cottage, ideal for a couple and very doggy friendly.

While very nice and quiet and secluded, it didn't have an enclosed garden whioch made it difficult for Boris and Daisy our dogs.
