Lack of usable outside space let this cottage down. It would not take much to create a terraced area to the rear garden, which would provide a wonderful space. A good carpenter could build a proper stairway to the bedroom, and a dorma extension over the bathroom to provide an ensuite would make this cottage much more usable. For the same price i could have rented a 3 bedroomed cottage by the sea in Aroporth We had a lovely time, but felt we sacrificed too many comforts to enjoy the week properly. The Ferry Inn was a leg down, expensive and poor quality food, cooked by inexperienced kitchen staff.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your stay and your comments. I do value your feedback. The outside space is one of our most popular features and it is highly appreciated by guests. The garden has views of the River Teifi and estuary. St Dogmaels Abbey can also be seen from the garden. It holds spectacular views. The stairs are one of the most historic features the Pennant Cottage offers .They come from a salvaged shipwreck and are in pristine condition as shown on the website. As for The Ferry Inn, this is a well-established five star pub. They do appreciate feedback if you would like to contact them directly.

Fantastic property with great character and charm; amazing views along the Teifi from the front garden. We really appreciated items such as washing up liquid, sugar, toilet paper etc being available as we usually have to purchase these ourselves. Beautiful area with wonderful scenery.
