Pendle View Cottage is a fabulous place to stay. The cottage is cosy, well equipped and situated in the middle of some breathtaking scenery. Our host was very hospitable and had left us a fabulous welcome package which was graciously received after a long journey. A travel cot and a high chair were welcome additions for our 7 month old.

We found the cottage to be in beautiful, rural surroundings. The cottage itself was clean and had spectacular views overlooking Pendle Hill. With two local pubs/restaurants within walking distance we found the village to have just what we needed. Located nearby (8 miles) was the town of Clitheroe. This makes a lovely day out with plenty of nice eateries to suit every need. We really enjoyed the peacefulness and the incredible views which the cottage had to offer and found that the neighbours were more than accommodating whilst leaving you to enjoy your stay in privacy. Blackpool is within a hours drive and burnley was just a short drive away should you wish to find a little bit more life of a town. Overall this was a very peaceful stay with amazing walks and views all around. :-)

We had a lovely time at the cottage celebrating a birthday. Luckily the weather was warm and sunny so we could make use of the patio with stunning views. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need. The host was very welcoming and provided a fabulous welcome basket and fresh milk in the fridge. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Fantastic location for views! Very comfortable and clean property. There seems to be some over complicated instructions about the heating! It would be much simpler if the description stated that as well as a fire in the living area, there are electric radiators in both the bedroom and bathroom.
