Fantastic location for views! Very comfortable and clean property. There seems to be some over complicated instructions about the heating! It would be much simpler if the description stated that as well as a fire in the living area, there are electric radiators in both the bedroom and bathroom.

Had a great week staying at Pendle View. Lovely views from the cottage and a good location. Great walks locally, although at the weekends they are very popular. Great food at the local pubs and very friendly people. Would be happy to stay there again.

Overall we thought the accommodation was basic. Sofa and bed were uncomfortable.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Pendle View. The comfort of beds is a very subjective matter therefore; we always try to go for the happy medium, not too hard and not too soft. Our first and only consideration is the comfort of our guests and we are sorry that you found the bed and sofa uncomfortable.

Loathe to say how much we enjoyed our stay at this idyllic little cottage! It could result in us not being able to get in when we hope to return. The cottage is great and it's position is just superb with views to die for. Hosts are lovely and right next door if you need anything. 5 star.
