Pegg Inn cottage is a sweet little place in a lovely location, lovely to come back to after a long day out. The view is a bonus and makes you feel like getting up into the hills. It is clean, neatly set up and has all the utensils you would hope for and little extras such as cotton wool in the bathroom and tissues. Despite its location on the edge of the Peak District it takes 10-15 minutes to get to Buxton and is easy to access the White Peak in all directions. Local walks eg to the Roaches or up Shutlingsloe are fairly strenuous for the not very fit (us) but are worth the effort to get views across the Cheshire plain and into the hills.

Excellent, well equipped spacious cottage with a homely feel. Has everything supplied you are likely to need and more besides. There are fantastic countryside views from all around the property, which is in a peaceful location with many different species of birds visiting the garden regularly.

This cottage is in a beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful for that getaway break. It is only really suitable for a couple or a small family as the 2nd bedroom adjoins the main bedroom and there is just the one bathroom upstairs. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and well equipped with the one exception of the downstairs TV which is small and mounted high up on the wall (it would be so lovely for the owners to mount a decent size TV preferably on the chimney breast so you can see it from the sofa!). The garden is gorgeous, shared with the owners but free to walk around. Note that if you are expecting the property to be pet free the owners have a dog who comes to visit occasionally. Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely come again.
