This cottage is in a beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful for that getaway break. It is only really suitable for a couple or a small family as the 2nd bedroom adjoins the main bedroom and there is just the one bathroom upstairs. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and well equipped with the one exception of the downstairs TV which is small and mounted high up on the wall (it would be so lovely for the owners to mount a decent size TV preferably on the chimney breast so you can see it from the sofa!). The garden is gorgeous, shared with the owners but free to walk around. Note that if you are expecting the property to be pet free the owners have a dog who comes to visit occasionally. Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely come again.

The cottage was lovely. Cosy and views to die for. Lots of extra touches to make it more homely. Walks from the doorstep. Sandy and Alan very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend.

We live in the city centre so to us, Pegg Cottage is in the middle of nowhere ...and it's great. Regularly saw tawny owl scanning for prey in the valley. Being so remote, you have to drive everywhere but that's no hardship.

The cottage is very clean and well equipped, in a lovely situation with extensive views. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and we couldn't have been treated better. We had a lovely week in a beautiful area.

Lovely cottage with friendly and helpful owner. Great view from windows and door. Well equipped. Variety of board games and dvds. No mobile signal but good wi-fi. Probably wouldn't stay there again but only because we like to try different areas.

Lovely location but very remote (which we wanted anyway). Lovely owners with thoughtful little touches and some baby friendly features. Sadly the TV in the lounge is far too small (and with a little one this is a major thing for the evening) and the bed is very hard and uncomfortable. Be aware there is a dog who likes to pop in - didn’t bother us but may bother some. Stunning views.
