We stayed there over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The cottage is spacious and comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect. It faces a park and is in a quiet cul de sac but really close to the high street. The only thing I would point out to future tenants with dogs is that the secure space outside is only secure if the gates are closed and yet the gates don’t close if you have your car parked there. So one thing has to give and for me it was a case of leaving the car there for convenience and taking the dog to the nearby park at night and in the morning. So for those who are looking to just let their dog out into a yard you would need to find somewhere nearby to park. Apart from that it is perfect..but as nowhere is perfect I would recommend this every time.

Lovely cottage close to Cheltenham town centre. We'll equipped (if you can find the cutlery drawer!) and comfortable. Tight to get into the drive and not for long/wide vehicles so check. Just across the road from the park up to the Pump Rooms so children's play areas if needed. Shower screen too small so floods floor easily. Will use again when in Cheltenham.

We were disappointed when we arrived at the property to see that the brochure photos of the 'small enclosed garden' were very misleading due to the mirror on the back wall making the garden look much bigger. The advertising material also makes no mention of the children's nursery playground at the back of the cottage which at times was full of screaming children. Although at first glance the property seemed very clean in actual fact the skirting boards were very dirty/ dusty as were some of the panelled doors. Also the landing light did not work neither did the fan oven. Both these things had been reported in the visitors book previously but nothing had been done to fix them. Personally I didn't think that the rope handrail on the stairs was long enough and also that the 6mm electric cable which came from the bathroom through the wall into the back bedroom and then went down through the floor should have been in some sort of conduit or trunking. Bad practice? The last thing is that the torch provided on the landing didn't work either.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. The cleaning issues have been checked and dealt with. The light and torch battery have been replaced. Spares are always available in the property for guests to use in case of failures between changeovers. The fan oven was checked and was found, in fact, to be in good working order.

Pavilion Mews is a light, spacious and very well equipped cottage which provides a perfect base from which to explore Cheltenham and the surrounding countryside. It is dog friendly and close to the beautiful Pittville Park, the perfect place for morning and evening walks. The cottage is just a 10 minute walk from the main streets of the town and there are some local shops and cafes near at hand. We had a great stay, visiting our old student haunts from many years ago. We would highly recommend this property.

very well furnished, designed, equipped and clean. Welcoming cake and coffee a kind touch. Very close to town centre by foot. One minor point given the excessive heat while we were there: fans would be much appreciated given the low ceilings upstairs.

From our perspective, we could park the car and walk to the shops, restaurants and parks in the immediate vacinity. The outside sitting area is a great sun trap! The property does have some damp issues and the bathroom could do with some updating. All in all, we had a lovely time, would come back again and the cake on arrival was very tasty.

Pretty and bijou. Comfortable house with parking for small-ish car (we have a Peugeot 207). Excellent location for exploring Cheltenham. 50 yards from Pittville Gardens which is excellent for children up to 11 years of age (skateboard park over road as well). Some road noise but didn't really bother us. Plenty of coffee bars, small shops and take aways close by.
