On arrival entry was quick and easy. A family of 4 (2 adults, 9yo and 18month old) plus a dog and house was more than adequate. Close enough to town yet far enough away, everything you could need was there. A word of warning for the top floor room watch your head on way into bed and out! When we are down again will be looking to see if Parkview is available.

This is the 2nd visit to Parkview. Has not changed from the first visit. Homely, well equipped, clean. Within walking distance to the town centre. Along the canal is lovely. Lots of places to visit within the surrounding area.

Perfect location for our group which included some with mobility issues as well as others who are very active and need good dog walking options nearby. A well appointed cottage with plenty of cooking and dining equipment. Would have been great to have a dishwasher. Loft conversion bedroom is delightful but the bath/shower was slightly problematic for a tall and not very flexible person. We had a great holiday however and would happily recommend the cottage.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; I am pleased you enjoyed your stay. It would be nice to fit a dishwasher at Parkview, as it would useful and increase it to a 4 star property. Unfortunately it would not be practical for us at the moment to do this as a complete refit of the galley kitchen would be required.

Response on behalf of the owner; I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay despite the English summer weather.

Beds very uncomfy (all of them) Kitchen was well equipped and house handy for Skipton.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; I am sorry you found the beds uncomfortable. I hope you still managed to enjoy your stay. We do use a firm mattress on our beds as that is what most people seem to prefer.

A very pleasant short stay (3 nights) to visit family & friends in the area. The cottage was immaculate, well equipped, with excellent off road parking. A 10-15min walk away from Aldi, a pub serving food and a good Indian restaurant. Similar distance into Skipton itself.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments. I am glad you enjoyed your stay at Parkview.
