Relaxed and comfy stay, lodge very spacious, lots of wardrobes and storage areas.Kitchen area well fitted out with modern appliances.Superb decking area for Al fresco dining during the fine weather.Thoroughly enjoyed week away.On the downside tv in bedroom doesn’t work, shower drains filthy, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector need replacing as out of date.Lodge is 1.2 miles up a steep hill from the nearest pub.

We loved our holiday here and the patio with furniture was not overlooked and was a sunny area. The view of the hills was lovely and the site is very quiet with a pond with terrapins in. Bedrooms and bathrooms good and loads of storage space and comfy beds. The kitchen has plenty of gadgets and a large fridge and freezer.Well stocked and even a wine fridge. Large patio doors make it light and airy, good TV and books and DVDs and the whole lodge is very roomy. The only drawbacks were the state of the dining chairs covered in hideous black nylon hiding cracked ancient leather and they all squeaked with age. The settees were ancient with little support and need updating. A railing by the 3 steps to the front door would be useful for older folks. We did have a wonderful time and would come back in spite of everything I have said!!
