This holiday apartment is just 440 yards away from the beach, and is in an ideal location for exploring the island.

All on the ground floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: With satellite TV, DVD player, iPod dock and CD player.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With bunk bed (for children) and single bed.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

Both properties: Gas central heating (in winter controlled by owner), electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Small, lawned area. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only.

These beautifully appointed ground floor holiday apartments (refs 29781 and 29782) offer extremely comfortable and well-presented accommodation, and are ideally situated, just a 5-minute walk from Shanklin’s lovely golden sandy beach, accessed via a cliff side lift. There is so much to do in this popular resort which flows around into Sandown, with seaside amusements, putting, crazy golf, a zoo, pier, leisure centre with indoor pool and many restaurants, cafés and bars along the waterfront. Discover numerous attractions for all ages on this lovely sunny island, with its many historical houses, beautiful gardens and scenic walks along the heritage coastline. Outdoor pursuits include scenic walking, riding, fishing, cycling, water sports and golf. The island can be explored from the open-top buses that stop regularly at various collection points. Shop ½ mile, pub/restaurant 50 yards. These properties can be booked together with Beatrice Cottage (UK1237), ½ mile away, to accommodate up to 13 guests.

    Had a fantastic stay here again (our 3rd) in July. Again, the apartment was very clean and well presented. It's location is perfect. Very close to all Shanklin has to offer with it's own off road parking too. Our only very small gripe is that there are no blackout curtains in either of the bedrooms which disrupts sleep for our family especially as it's high summer and with 3 young children. All in all though a brilliant place to stay for a family holiday.

    We had a Fantastic holiday, so much to do.. Very comfortable, spacious, well equipped accommodation. Landlord was very helpful, kind and a lovely guy! Kids loved it! Great location, fantastic island, we will be back! Thank you very much xxx

    The flat is well located at the top of the cliff, close to a walkway and lift down to the esplanade. Shops are a ten minute walk away. The flat itself is fairly well equipped, but could do with some improved lighting. No internet access provided, but the 4G network coverage is good.

    Far more spacious than the pictures would lead you to believe. It is well equipped, benefits from off-street parking and ideally located for exploring Shanklin and beyond. I couldn't give it ten as it's slightly exposed to passing pedestrians and traffic, but all things considered, it is very good value for money.

    Perfect location, beautifully clean,everything you need for a wonderful holiday in Shanklin. Andy was the best host and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend 10 out of 10.
