We had a wonderful stay at Oystercatchers, a real home from home. We were left a very thoughtful welcome pack including homemade delicious lemon drizzle cake and home made marmalade! Perfect location for the beach, and a short drive to Rye.

Everything you need for your visit is provided. The accommodation is clean and well heated a must for this time of year. A lovely welcome pack in particular the home made flapjacks and honey. Easy access to the beach.

We had a great stay. The welcome pack was much appreciated. We had everything we needed. We were out of season, so the area was quiet and we enjoyed lovely local walks.

The cottage is in a great location, clean, comfortable and has everything required to enjoy your break. The only disappointment was the shower which unfortunately was at best like showering under a watering can. The area is very dog friendly and with many good walks in Camber and Rye. The local hostelry ‘The Owl’ is not only dog friendly but offers great food and drink.

We arrived and were welcomed by a lovely lady. She had made homemade marmalade and a Victoria Sponge (it was so good, I'm ashamed to day I initially thought it was shop- bought). Very clean. Not the comfiest of beds - but I'm used to memory foam mattress. The shower dribbled out water and it took some time to have one. Camber beach is glorious, but the town is quite lifeless with not much to do other than kite-surfing. One shop - and that was on the pontins holiday camp (that was dated too). A couple of nice restaurants/bars. A little disappointed with the area.

Oystercatchers is a light, well equipped little house which was ideal for us: Recently built, the house sits in a small housing estate with real character which is only a short walk from the beach which has a dog friendly zone.

Great cottage, with good facilities for children. Lovely hosts, and good location by the beach. Shower could be better, but minor compared to cottage as a whole.
