The cottage was just what we wanted, comfortable, quiet, a place to rest & enjoy, but also a place where the younger family (14 & 17) could explore & enjoy. We loved the outlook, the wild life, the little wood, the open sky etc.

This is a lovely holiday cottage, for us the location was superb, walking distance to the beach in one direction and to the local pub in the other! Within a short drive we had access to small towns and villages which were lovely to explore, we were lucky with the weather (it always helps!) The cottage is large and well laid out, I liked the open plan kitchen/diner, as we were there over Christmas it was nice to be able to prepare our Christmas dinner and still be involved in the celebrations. The cottage was never cold, the wood burner was a stunning focal point and we enjoyed cosy evenings round the fire. The cottage has an abundance of games and books for all ages, it was nice to have so many options! The bathrooms were stunning, all modern and well appointed (a bit at odds with the rest of the cottage but not in a bad way!). The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The highlight of the cottage has to be the floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the garden, it was lovely to sit and watch the birds and the occasional squirrel coming and going. It turned the most ordinary afternoon into a spectical! There was nothing not to like about this cottage, everything we needed was on hand and I would recommend this cottage, it is isolated so if you want 24/7 food and entertainment then maybe this is not the place for you but if you are looking to get away from it all, to relax and to come back refreshed this is the place for you.

Great cottage ideal for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. Owners very friendly and helpful. Although attached to owners property it was very private. Will definitely book again.
