Otter Lodge is the perfect location for couples to enjoy. This superbly-presented pied-à-terre is situated right on the edge of Loch Harport on the stunning beautiful western shore of the Isle of Skye. Approached via a quiet no through road leading down to the sea, it offers immaculate accommodation for two in a truly spectacular setting. The main living area is open plan, with generous-sized sitting room with a chest of drawers, and a large Smart TV with a Sky HD box which you can curl up in front of in the evening and watch a film on Netflix or Amazon Movies. The dining area leads on to a bright, modern, well-equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge (with small freezer compartment) and a washer/dryer.
The door opens on to a large decking area with picnic table and chairs and vistas of the sea loch, hills and mountains as far as the eye can see. The double bedroom is superbly presented with hand made patchwork quilt bedspread and colour co-ordinated soft furnishings, as well as a wardrobe. There is a good-sized modern shower room with toilet and basin.
The garden grounds ajoin croft land, which meanders gently down to the water’s edge, between small shrubs and grassy banks. Here visitor’s can wander along the side of the loch, watch the local wildlife, including sea eagles, otters and seals. You can pick mussels in season, fish or just sit and enjoy the quiet and seclusion.
